RUDISILL BIKE LANES UPDATE!!!

According to the Transportation Engineering Department:

The resurfacing is done, and we are waiting to hear when the marking materials will be available. We hope within the next few weeks.

Reason for the delay is an unforeseen shortage of marking materials nationwide. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has sent out a notice stating not to assess liquidated damages on the contractors.

In late June, we were advised that the materials delivery would be approximately 8 weeks. However, as of July 23, 2010, we have not yet received any updates.
