BUSINESS EXPANSION AWARDS

The first Business Expansion Awards Breakfast was held in 1995. It was developed to bring more attention to the investment and job growth of existing area businesses. Each year since, the Mayors of the City of Fort Wayne and New Haven and the Allen County Commissioners have continued to honor businesses that have worked with our Department and recommitted themselves to our community with their reinvestment. This award acknowledges that much of new job growth comes from companies that have long made Fort Wayne their home, and many of those are small businesses.
