STATEMENTS OF STRATEGIC DIRECTION

  1. Create an environment for development through a targeted neighborhood development approach.
  2. Unify the CDBG & Home Funding processes.
  3. Shift OHNS role to be proactive policy maker, funder & monitor rather than direct "in-house" program manager.
  4. Leverage HOME & CDBG funds more effectively. Cultivate funding partners who can match City's investments.
  5. Allocate HOME and CDBG funds so that City-funded projects play an integral role in the economic growth and quality of life in the City of Fort Wayne.
