June 2 Miami Indian Heritage Days: Eric vosteen presents Great Lakes weaponry including the atlatl. Sponsored by the History Center. Location: Chief Richardville House, 5705 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne, IN. June 2, 1 pm - 4 pm. This is a series of monthly programs that feature local artists, performers and representatives of the Miami Indians and other Native American groups, demonstrating aspects of their heritage. Salomon Farmer's Market: Fresh Produce for a Healthy Lifestyle. Sponsored by the Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department. At the Historic Salomon Farm on 817 W. Dupont Road. Every Wednesday, 4-7 pm, until Oct. 10. The market is held in the Old Barn. Follow the gravel road back past the Learning Center and two other bards to the Old Barn. Stop by for a great selection of fresh produce, flowers, plants, herbs, honey, maple syrup, natural soaps and lotions - all grown or raised locally and most organic.
