Celebrate the holidays with homeless dogs and cats at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control. Tour the shelter, visit with the animals, enjoy refreshments, and learn about volunteer opportunities. Bring gifts of: canned cat/kitten food and canned dog/puppy food, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, and parakeet food, durable chew toys like Kongs or Nyla Bones, plain clay cat litter, pet treats, small bags of timothy hay or alfalfa cubes, pine wood bedding, towels and blankets for pet bedding, blank note cards with envelopes, toys for dogs and cats, leashes and collars, dog crates and cat carriers, cat scratching posts made from rope (non-carpeted) and donations to purchase medical supplies.
