The City of Fort Wayne's Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services (OHNS), within the Community Development Division, administers the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) programs, each funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. OHNS is comprised of 3 departments: Housing Programs, Grants, and Neighborhood Revitalization.

Allocate HOME and CDBG funds so that City-funded projects play an integral role in the economic growth and quality of life in the City of Fort Wayne.

FINAL 2009 CDBG DISASTER APPLICATION
for Rehabilitation of 66 apartments in the Centlivre Apartment Complex
On or about September 10, 2009, The City Of Fort Wayne intends to apply to the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority for a grant from the State Community Development Block Grant Supplemental Disaster Recovery Program. This program is funded by Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. These funds are to be used for rehabilitation and new construction of affordable, multi-family housing in eligible counties. The City of Fort Wayne will hold a public hearing on Sept. 8, 2009, at 5 pm, at the Management Office of Centlivre Apartments office located at 2903 Westbrook Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On or about July 15, 2009 the City of Fort Wayne will submit an application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.The application will request an allocation of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds.
