January 6, 2017 - Fort Wayne City Utilities announces the promotion of Phil GiaQuinta to the position of Key Customer Account Manager. GiaQuinta will oversee wholesale contracts with neighboring communities, along with unique large customers who rely heavily on water and sewer services for their day-to-day operations and future growth. Many of these customers are also the largest employers in Allen County.

A graduate of Indiana University, GiaQuinta has served City Utilities since 2000, most recently as the Utility Services Manager. During that time, he achieved the status of Six Sigma Black Belt and implemented several improvements that made doing business with City Utilities easier for customers. Those qualities led to his appointment to create and implement the popular One Call to City Hall, 311. The latter included training call takers and the funneling of information from multiple City departments to residents.

GiaQuinta’s connections, knowledge and understanding of large businesses, manufacturers, and communities throughout the State bring exceptional qualifications to his new role that will benefit City Utilities and help key customers meet their distinctive needs to flourish, expand and invest in our community.

In his new role, GiaQuinta will coordinate with a variety of City Utilities resources including engineering, operations, finance and policy.
