Ms. Brown is serving in her first term on City Council, winning election in November 2007.

She is married to Dr. Stephen E. Brown and is the mother of seven children. Education background includes graduating from University of Notre Dame, 1980 B.S; University of Iowa Law School, 1983, J.D.

Ms. Brown currently is a member of the Parkview Hospital Ethics Committee, National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) Department of Boards and Councils.

In her capacity as a City Council member she is co-chair of the Public Works Committee and Council's representative on the Allen County Solid Waste District Board and the Urban Enterprise Association Board.
