January 8, 2015 - The City of Fort Wayne will continue to have a warming station available for the public through Friday.
The Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department’s Community Center, 233 W. Main St., is open as a warming station until 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday. The warming station is designed for individuals in need of a location to stay warm for a shorter period of time. Plans could change as needed.
The City’s Police, Fire, Public Works, and City Utilities departments are all prepared with full personnel in position to respond accordingly to any potential weather situations.
