The Fort Wayne Police Chief Rusty York has established the “official” hours for Trick-or-Treat for Halloween 2009.

Trick-or-Treat will be observed in the city from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Those individuals participating should remember the following safety rules:

'€¢    Wear reflective clothing and carry a flashlight
'€¢    Travel in groups comprised of at least one adult
'€¢    Refrain from consuming treats until inspected by an adult
'€¢    Only cross streets at the crosswalks
'€¢    Do not wear costumes that obscure your vision
'€¢    Do not enter a strangers home
'€¢    Be prepared for adverse weather conditions
