Green Fleet
|
History of Our Green Fleet In 2006, The City of Fort Wayne launched a Green City Initiative to develop a comprehensive energy and air quality plan. Since then, Fleet Management has made priorities to eventually reduce overall fleet emissions by 50% and become more environmentally friendly. Currently, our fleet is ranked as the #2 Green Fleet in North America. 100% of our diesel fuel cars run on B20 fuel, and 35% of our entire fleet runs on flex fuels. We have also saved more than 300,000 of gallons of gas a year due to our new technologies. • Click here to learn more about our green partner, Central Indiana Clean Cities All |
