- South curb lane of Jefferson Blvd. from Calhoun St. to Clay St.
The lane closures will begin Tuesday, March 16, 2010, and continue through Tuesday, March 30, 2010, weather permitting. The lane closures will allow the contractor, E & B Paving Inc., to reconstruct the curb ramps in this area prior to the resurfacing project. The contractor will be responsible for placement and maintenance of all warning signs and barricades.
Harrison Street - Walkway Construction For driver and pedestrian safety, Harrison Street between Jefferson Boulevard and the Botanical Conservatory parking lot will be closed to all traffic Wednesday, March 17 through May 14, weather permitting, to construct the walkway between the new Courtyard by Marriott and the Indiana Hotel. Drivers will be able to access to the Harrison Square parking garage, on-street parking and the Botanical Conservatory lot from the south. Harrison Street will be open to two-way traffic between Douglas Avenue and the walkway construction site. Traffic flow on Douglas is unaffected by the closure. During the closure, the north gate on Jefferson and the right field gate on Douglas – between the Lincoln Event Center and the Appleseed Picnic Pavilion – will be open for pedestrians 7 a.m. to dark on non-game days and 7 a.m. to three hours prior to the start of the game when the TinCaps are playing at home.

The closure will begin on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, and continue for 3 months, weather permitting. The closure will allow the contractor, General Restoration Corp., to complete their restoration work on the Court House. The parking meters on the north side of Berry St. from the Court House to Clinton St. will be bagged and reserved for the Allen County Sheriffs Department. The contractor will be responsible for placement and maintenance of all warning signs and barricades.
Calhoun Street The sidewalk on the east side of Calhoun Street and the east curb lane of Calhoun Street from Berry Street to Main Street will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic. This sidewalk and lane closure will begin Monday, February 15, 2010 and continue through the middle of August, 2010. These closures will begin the process for General Restoration Corporation to restore the exterior of the Court House. There will be several phases to this project as the contractor works their way around the Court House. Additional press releases will be issued as the contractor closes areas to complete their restoration. The contractor will be responsible for placement and maintenance of all warning signs and barricades.
Harrison Street Harrison St. will become a one-way street southbound from Jefferson Blvd. to Douglas Ave. beginning Monday, July 13, 2009 and continuing for approximately one year. This one-way traffic pattern has been created to accommodate construction of the new Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at Harrison Square.
