Topographic Maps

1956 City Topos:

These topos cover a large area of Fort Wayne. This map shows contour elevations in 2' intervals. Other items are represented such as locations of various roads, railroads, buildings, bridges, power poles, and trees. Each topo covers either the north half or the south half of one quarter section. This image is reproducible onto blueprint (diazo) paper or copier paper. The scale is 1" equals 100'

DNR topos:

These topos cover areas along the St. Mary's, St. Joseph, and Maumee rivers. Other areas are also covered such as the Junk Ditch and Cedarville. This map shows contour elevations in 2' intervals. Other items are represented such as locations of various roads, railroads, buildings, bridges, power poles, and trees. This image is reproducible onto blueprint (diazo) paper. The scale is 1" equals 200'.

USGS Quadrangle Maps:

These topos cover all of Allen County and the surrounding counties in Northeast Indiana. Dates may vary from map to map. This map shows contour elevations in 5' and 10' intervals. Other items are represented such as locations of various roads, railroads and rivers. This map comes in a color print on heavy paper. This map is also known as the 7-1/2 minute map. 7-1/2 minutes in longitude and latitude. The scale is 1" equals approximately 2,000'.

USGS Quadrangle Maps (2):

These topos cover some of the surrounding areas of Allen County. Dates may vary from map to map. This map shows contour elevations in 50' intervals. Other items are represented such as locations of various roads, railroads and rivers. This map comes in a color print on heavy paper. This map will show two (2) degrees in longitude and one (1) degree in latitude.

These maps cover Allen County and surrounding areas. These maps are not current wetland maps, and do not produce quality copies. Each map covers an area equivalent to that of the USGS Quadrangle map (7-1/2 minute).
These maps cover all of Allen County. This map shows different flood zone areas. Other items are represented such as locations of various roads, railroads and rivers. These maps can be found in the Planning Dept. on the 8th floor of the City - County Building. These maps are reproducible onto blueprint (diazo) or copier paper.
