        TRANSPORTATION LINKS

        pdf ADDT Map

How busy is the road that I may be bicycling on, you ask? Well, jump over to this link and find out on the map provided.

Annual average daily traffic, abbreviated AADT, is a measure used primarily in transportation planning and transportation engineering. It is the total volume of vehicle traffic of a highway or road for a year divided by 365 days. AADT is a useful and simple measurement of how busy the road is. It is sometimes reported as "average annual daily traffic".

Remember, most of the daily volume is from approximately 6:30 - 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. These are the travel times when most vehicles are going to, or leaving, places of employment.
