Have you ever wondered what to do with unused, unwanted or expired prescription medication? Keeping them out of our water system is important, so medications should NEVER be flushed down the toilet. Instead, local police and other agencies offer medication collection events two times per year.  Volunteers will be at the following Walgreen's Drug Store locations to collect unwanted/unused medications on Friday, September 25, 2015:

Allen County TRAID, volunteer organizations and the Allen County Solid Waste Management District have organized a year-round medication collection program. Only pills are accepted at these sites. Collection boxes are located in the lobby following police agencies and unwanted pills may be dropped during the hours shown:
