Customer Relations Center

The City Utilities Customer Relations Center is located on the first floor of the Citizens Square Building in Room 130 at 200 E. Berry Street in downtown Fort Wayne. The Center is fully accessible for persons with disabilities. English and Spanish speaking customer service representatives are available. City Utilities bills are also available in Braille or in large print by calling the Customer Relations Center. The center is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

  • New water and sewer service termination of utility service
    • In order to begin new water service with Fort Wayne City Utilities, customers must call the Customer Relations Center at (260) 427-1234 to get the service set up, or sign up online. Service turn-ons are completed as appointments are available

(260) 427-1234 (The wait time to reach a Customer Relations Representative may be shorter during off-peak times. For quicker service, please call between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. Also, Mondays, specially Mondays after long holiday weekends, are extremely busy.)

Utility Rules and Regulations

All three of Fort Wayne's Utilities - Water, Sewer and Stormwater - are governed by a set of General Utility Rules and Regulations that have been adopted by the Board of Public Works or Stormwater Management Board. Each Utility may also be affected by resolutions or policies adopted by its governing board.
