Pennies a Day for Great Water

You may have read int he newspaper or heard on television that the cost for water from City Utilities will go up on January 1, 2013. That's true. But what you pay for water is reinvested in the water treatment plant and in our 1,160 miles of water mains so that City Utilities can continue to deliver great water to you.

Effective January 1, the cost of water for a typical household in Fort Wayne, using 5,000 gallons of water each month, will be about $20.60. That's an increase of about $3.40 over the current bill, or an increase of about 11-cents per day.
