There are a variety of other convenient ways to pay your City Utilities bill so that the payment is received and credited prior to the due date:

 Mailing your payment to the wrong address or failing to include your customer and account number on the check you write or on payment made by your bank to City Utilities may result in a significant delay in crediting your City Utilities account and may result in late fees being applied.

When mailing a check to City Utilities it is essential that you use the correct mailing address when sending in a payment.

Remember it can take up to seven (7) days for a mailed payment to make its way through the mail and be processed.  Be sure if you are sending payment by US Mail that you are mailing it in time for us to receive it by the due date.

For timely and accurate crediting of payment to your account, please make sure you include your 15-digit customer and account number on your check.  This can be found on the top right-hand corner of the bill.

City Utilities is pleased to offer residential water and/or sewer customers a new program that can help protect against unexpected and expensive repairs to the private water and sewer service lines that run through your property.  City Utilities has partnered with American Water Resources to offer low cost water and sewer service line protection programs.  Learn more about the program in this brochure  or enroll in the program here or by calling American Water Resources at 1-844-765-7263.

All of the functions of Fort Wayne City Utilities are funded by rates and fees that customers pay for the services City Utilities provides. Residents of the Fort Wayne area only support City Utilities if they are customers -- City Utilities does not receive any funding from property taxes. 

Customer Support 

City Utilties bills are available in large print or Braille for persons with a visual impairment.  Ask for these or other accommodations from Customer Support.

City Utilities has two kiosks where payments can be made. Our outside kiosk is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is located on the exterior wall of Citizens Square, 200 E. Berry Street. The second kiosk is inside Citizens square and is available during business hours. Payments made to both kiosks are applied to your account in real-time.
