Intro to Dragon Boat Racing

Have you seen our new dragon boat? If not, you need to! After three years of Dragon Boat Races in Fort Wayne, Riverfront Fort Wayne and Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation have purchased a dragon boat to grow the newest river activity which originates from China. This 46’ long boat seats 20 paddlers, plus a drummer and steersman. Free training will include an on-shore introduction to paddling and boat safety and then an on-water paddling session. No previous experience required. Life jackets are provided. Ages 14+. Registration deadlines: August 14, August 28, and September 11, respectively. Min. 8. Max. 20.
