Third Saturday of the month

Join us on the third Saturday of the month for our new Young Naturalist Series for an hour of learning, crafts and fun themed snacks. This FREE program is limited to 20 children plus their grown-ups. Bug-tastic

Discover the amazing world of bugs in this fun and adventuresome class where students are engaged and enlightened by the strange world of insects. Explore possibilities while building your own bug and constructing a bug hotel from recycled and found items are just a few of the samples of fun activities on tap for this event.


Fall Leaf Fun

October 20, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

We promise to catch you if you fall into our Fall Leaf Fun class, where we will discover the mysterious world of leaves! We’ll reveal the reason why leaves change color in the fall with a fun science lab, get creative with leaf rubbings, and enjoy a tasty themed snack all in an hour!


Hibernate or Migrate?

November 17, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Learn more than the “bare necessities” while we uncover the reasons why some animals hibernate, why some migrate, and how some adapt when winter comes. We’ll  make a cave for a bear, find the reason why birds fly in a “V” formation, and enjoy a fall themed snack.
