- pose a public safety issue (e.g. if posted comments include personal information or refer to open police investigations, etc.)

While comments are subject to immediate removal for the above reasons, the poster may receive a response via email when a more thorough response is warranted. Please note that the comments expressed on this site may not reflect the opinions and official position of the City of Fort Wayne, its elected officials, appointees, or employees

10 scams to be on the lookout for in August
(WPTA21) -
From a scam alert from Indiana Michigan Power to a spoofed email from the Better Business Bureau, here are 10 scams you should be on the lookout for.


NUMBER 4: Email sent to Neighborhood Association, targeting the Treasurer.
A Neighborhood Association reported an email targeting the treasurer. The email header read "New vendor needs paid immediately!" In the body of the email, it asked "When will you be available to pay transaction? Money must be wire transferred."
