On Saturday, April 28th at noon we had our "Meet & Greet" event at the Church of the Brethren. There were 21 homeowners present for this event. The event was catered by SUBWAY and the children enjoyed an activity table with snacks. Linda Frutos made a presentation regarding Planning for a Natural Disaster. Booklets and information flyers were provided by the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana. It was good to see our neighbors once again after these cold winter months. Fun was had by all and we look forward to seeing more participation from other homeowners at our July Ice Cream Social, Mini Carnival.
On May 19th the Great American Clean-up and picnic is scheduled. This will be a Saturday, and there will be a large dumpster available on the corner of Crown and Calhoun. If you are elderly or disabled please give Linda a call or any of the board members to help remove debris from your property.
June 8th & 9th Friday and Saturday,the annual neighborhood "Garage Sale" is scheduled. This is the time to de-clutter your home and possibly make a little extra spending money.
July 14th Saturday, is the annual "Ice Cream Social" with a "Mini Carnival" from 12:00p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event is always a fun time, and a sure fire way to meet your neighbors! There will be more information on this upcoming event as well.
The Board is currently discussing having a neighborhood picnic at Parkview Field. The TinCaps have contacted us regarding a program they offer to local neighborhood associations. More information upcomming.
September 22nd at 5:00 p.m. we will hold the "Annual Dinner", there will be more information coming on this event as well.
