be their voice

If you suspect an animal is being abused or is not receiving proper care please speak up. Our team of Animal Control Officers works in the community to educate the public and enforce city ordinances as well as state laws in reference to pet ownership. If you think an animal is need please do not hesitate to call to report it.

There is a known link between animal abuse and other forms of abuse like elder abuse, domestic abuse and child abuse. When there is animal abuse happening in a home, it's typically an indicator of other abuses happening. Intervention as early as possible is an important step to protecting both animals and people.

Have you recently purchased a puppy from a breeder and have concerns about the conditions it came from? Providing information about possible puppy mills in our community is crucial to bringing an end to the cruely and neglect these dogs go through. To report a complaint against a breeder, fill out the Humane Society of the United States' form HERE.
