SUMMARY Working under the direction of the Field Operations Manager and overall direction from the Executive Director, the incumbent performs duties required to provide continued sewer services, uses hand, power tools and equipment. The incumbent is expected to use good judgement, independence, initiative and professional expertise in conducting day-to-day operations. At all times, the incumbent conducts him/herself in a professional manner with supervisors, peers, subordinates and customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Incumbent has regular contact with co-workers and some contact with the general public. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions along with procedure manuals. The employee must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. The incumbent must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Incumbent performs work under moderate supervision with instructions being relatively complete. Incumbent recommends or requests deviations from general instructions when necessary. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
