April 2, 2019 - A unique event at our award winning Three Rivers Water Filtration Plant reminds us of the importance of water in our everyday pleasures. City Utilities is teaming with Conjure Coffee for coffee at the water plant. The free event called Enjoy! offers short tours of a portion of the plant, a talk by a historian about the Collegiate Gothic architectural style of the plant and a coffee tasting from Conjure.
The event is Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 10:00 AM until noon at the water plant located at 415 Baltes Avenue.
Conjure Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster with a cafe located near the confluence of Fort Wayne’s three rivers and just across the river from the water plant. Located at 701 Columbia Avenue, Conjure opened in 2015 and offers a variety of espressos, coffees, teas, and brunch items. The shop values water and the role it plays in a good cup of coffee. City Utilities is pleased to host Conjure during Water Week 2019.
Enjoy! reminds us of the importance of water in our everyday lives. A precious resource and a landmark in the community, the Three Rivers Water Filtration Plant provides drinking water to nearly 300,000 people and is able to produce72 million gallons of clean drinking water per day.
