April 9, 2020 - Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry and the Allen County Commissioners are asking area residents to take part in the All In Allen comprehensive planning process by taking an online questionnaire.

Input from residents is critical to the work to update the community’s comprehensive plan, which is a blueprint to guide land use, housing, transportation, parks and more for Fort Wayne and Allen County. Anyone who lives or works in Allen County is invited to visit AllInAllen.org and take a survey asking opinions on important community issues. Answers will help shape the All in Allen plan, which will help guide leaders to make decisions and policies that impact the region for years to come.

“A comprehensive plan that reflects the priorities and ideas of residents is essential to ensuring we are all working together to create a stronger, more vibrant and more inclusive community,” said Mayor Henry.

“Community participation is key to creating and realizing a plan that reflects the vision of Allen County. We encourage the public to provide their input to help shape our future,” said the Allen County Board of Commissioners.”

Residents should visit ALLINALLEN.ORG to not only fill out the online questionnaire but also visit the Map.Social feature. Once a resident registers to use the interactive map, it allows visitors to view, add, and like comments about features throughout the community, such as roads, intersections, landmarks, neighborhoods and more.

Finally, residents may sign up to receive regular email updates about the All in Allen process on the website and they may use the AllInAllen@allencounty.org email address to make a comment or ask a question.
