Drivers should continue to use caution, watch for slick conditions

The City of Fort Wayne urges drivers to use caution as high water conditions persist in some locations.

New additions to the list on Thursday morning:
Fillmore from Cunningham to Portage
Geneva at Ardmore
Elyetta at Middle
Freeman and Taylor
Taylor and Bright
Taylor and McKinley
Glasgow and Dwenger
Edsall to the railroad track
North River Road
Perry to the dead end
Perry at the alley

Clinton Street at Headwaters Park is reduced to two lanes due to flooding.

The Street Department continues to monitor high-water conditions throughout the City. Barricades are being removed or relocated as water levels go down on streets.

Residents are reminded not to drive through standing water as depths are deceiving and under currents can be strong.

Throughout the night the Street Department sanded and salted roads, although as water levels go down, pavement could become icy. Drivers are encouraged to use caution Thursday.

Residents with issues or concerns related to flooding may call 311 for assistance.
