NORTH CLINTON STREET - Phase 2

Investment: $2.367 million
Description: Concrete reconstruction on North Clinton Street from North of Washington Center Road to North of Jacobs Creek Run, with the exception of the section at St. Joe Center Rd. This project includes pavement repair and resurfacing; improved curbing and shoulders, along with new ADA ramps and crossings; landscape architecture, green infrastructure, traffic signals and pavement markings and utility coordination. Traffic will be maintained during construction..
July 21, 2017 -- 3RB started pavement markings.
July 6, 2017 -- 3RB laying out North Clinton.
June 2017 -- Wayne Asphalt paving outside lanes and should finish with cross-overs next week. 6/16/17

May 23- 26, 2017 -- Shambaugh starting to put new signals in. Eight were added to project.
Week of May 22 -- Wayne Asphalt plans on finishing Binder next week. Wayne Asphalt plans on finishing paving in outside southbound with binder and then doing approaches.
May 23, 2017 -- Shambaugh starting to put new signals in. Eight were added to project.
May 17-19, 2017 -- Contractor Primco began pouring curb on approaches. Wayne Asphalt graded shoulders and cleaned North Clinton. Wayne paved outside northbound lane with binder and began paving outside southbound lane from north end of project.
May 11, 2017 -- Subcontractor Fleming is finishing with structure adjustments at Auburn and Clinton (pouring concrete around casting) and then will continue with linear grading on the east side in ditch areas by existing culverts.
May 9, 2017 -- Contractor Primco finished last concrete patch in the northbound outside lane.
May 8, 2017 -- Fleming did linear grading on N/E corner of Wendmere and Clinton. Fleming begins removing existing curb on Bethany and raising castings on North Clinton.
May 8, 2017 -- Primco plans on finishing stone shoulders this week and doing their last patch.

April 2017 -- Subcontractor Shambaugh moved traffic heads at the intersection of Auburn and Clinton. (4/3/17) 3RB set traffic control for north and south bound traffic on Clinton, with inside lanes closed. Contractor Primco will remove pavement on Washington Ctr. in front of Dwenger on April 4, weather permitting. Fleming removed median areas at Auburn and North Clinton (4/7) Primco opened traffic on Washinton Ctr., where patches were. (4/10) Primco poured north median and part of south median at Auburn Rd. (4/11) Contractor Primco finished pouring south concrete median at Auburn Rd. (4/12)
Dec. 12, 2016 -- Primco finished with construction for the winter. They cleaned site and opened all northbound and southbound lanes.
November 2016 -- Contractor Primco finished patch areas in the southbound inside lanes and began patching northbound inside lanes (11/1/16)
Primco switched southbound traffic to inside lanes from Auburn Rd. to Washington Ctr. Rd and subcontractor Fleming started bioswale w/underdrain alongside a section of the roadway (11/9.) Contractor Primco has now switched all traffic over to inside lanes.(11/14) Primco removed poor soils from a section and placed geogrid and stone.(11/16) Primco poured west southbound lane. (11/18) Subcontractor Fleming continued on west ditch line putting bioswale in.(11/18) Primco continued patching southbound outside lane. (11/22)
October 2016 -- Traffic control is setup from Washington Ctr. to Jacobs Creek & inside lanes are closed. Contractor Primco begins marking patches for removal (10/10/16) Primco continues to saw cut southbound lanes. (10/17) Primco patched 28 areas in the inside southbound lane and patched 18 areas in the inside southbound lane (10/19-10/21)
