In December 2014, City Utilities welcomed about 12,000 new water utility customers in southwest Fort Wayne and in a number of neighborhoods lying south and west of Fort Wayne.  By fall of 2015, all of these customers that had previously received water from Aqua Indiana were receiving water from Fort Wayne City Utilities.

With the transition from Aqua Indiana to City Utilities services, customers were also switched to the water rates paid by all other City Utilities customers.
