The Tainter Gate at the Hosey Dam will be lowered Monday morning, May 17, 2010 to provide for normal summer recreational pool levels. The gates were opened two weeks ago in order to lower river levels and allow for the river bottom to be examined for obstructions. Due to heavy rains the examination did not take place and the examination is being postponed until a later date.
