Fort Wayne, Ind. - Regina Kostoff has been hired to fill the Executive Director’s position at the Fort Wayne Urban Enterprise Association (UEA).

A long-time City of Fort Wayne employee, Kostoff brings valuable experience to her new position.  Most recently, she served as Utility Services Manager for the Board of Public Works.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from IPFW and a master’s degree in speech communication from Ball State University.

The UEA administers a 3.99 square mile-area in Fort Wayne’s industrial core that is targeted for physical revitalization, job creation and improvements in social and economic conditions.  Businesses in the zone may qualify for incentives to encourage business retention in the central city, including wage and individual income tax exemptions, investment credits and small business loans.  The association also runs the Fort Wayne Enterprise Center at 1830 Wayne Trace, offering business incubator space to light manufacturers and small service-oriented businesses.
