“Deputy Mayor Beth Malloy has been a tremendous asset to this community,” said Mayor Henry. “She brought a fresh perspective and a capacity for innovation to key issues that this administration has championed: SmartGov, the streamlined permitting process, City-County collaboration initiatives and Legacy Fort Wayne. She elevated the role of Deputy Mayor and has been my true partner in making Fort Wayne a better, more attractive city. She will be a tough act to follow.”

Malloy will remain with the City through January 13. The search process for engaging a new Deputy Mayor will be delineated in the near future.
