November 29, 2022 - The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division will host their next Neighborhood Presidents Meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 in Room 035 on the Garden Level of Citizens Square. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Fort Wayne Neighborhoods’ Facebook page.
Guest speakers for the meeting feature presentations from AARP Associate State Director of Advocacy & Outreach Emily Gorman and Bloomingdale Neighborhood Association President Chris Walker. The association was the successful recipient of the 2022 AARP Community Challenge earlier this year promoting four projects that aim to create vibrant public spaces and increase civic engagement. In addition, there will be a presentation about the MyWater initiative from City Utilities. MyWater is an online customer portal and citywide meter replacement for all customers.
Neighborhood association leaders are encouraged to register their association with the City to be considered active at www.fortwayneneighborhoods.org. Registered neighborhoods receive updates from various City departments and are eligible for future grant opportunities by completing the short registration.
