February 29, 2024 - The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division will host their next Neighborhood Presidents Meeting at 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 4 at Citizens Square in the City Council Chambers located on the Garden Level. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Fort Wayne Neighborhoods’ Facebook page.

The topic for the night is "Climate Action and Adaptation Plan and Neighborhoods." The Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Presentation will feature Kerry Korpela, MPA-MSES, Program Manager in the Office of Sustainability; Jodi Leamon, Program Manager for Utility Energy and Sustainability Services; and Tanya Chiwara, Energy Engineering Technician. Additionally, Bernie Beier, Director of Homeland Security for Allen County, will present on Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness. Matt Gratz, Solid Waste Manager, and Victoria Edwards, Great American Cleanup Program Manager, will also discuss the upcoming Great American Cleanup and resources for neighborhood cleanups.

Neighborhood association leaders are encouraged to register their association with the City to be considered active at www.fortwayneneighborhoods.org. Registered neighborhoods receive updates from various City departments and can apply for grant opportunities, including the Neighborhood Improvement Grant, open until March 8 at 5:00 p.m.
