Mayor Richard will speak at 9:45 a.m. (Indiana time) Friday, September 23. Mayor Richard will participate in a panel discussion on “Competing Visions of the Broadband Future.”

Mayor Richard will discuss how Fort Wayne will use fiber-to-the-premises and broadband technology as a catalyst for a high performance government and private investment.

The Mayor will explain the City’s Innovation Initiative, which is designed to create new services for business owners, employees and residents. This community engagement effort uses Innovators Forums, iTeams for Broadband and a venture capital fund that has been established at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center.
