Leaf Pickup Suspended due to Snow

The City Street Department has suspended the Leaf Pickup program due to the recent and anticipated snow.

The Street Department handles snow removal and leaf pickup. Snow removal is the department's top priority to keep streets accessible for emergency vehicles and motorists.

When weather conditions improve, crews will resume collecting leaves. Each section of the City; North, Central and South has one pickup week remaining.

Residents that have leaves in biodegradable bags can contact the Street Department at 427-1235 for pickup.

Until last week's snow event, the Street Department was on schedule to finish the Leaf Pickup program on time on December 22.
