July 7, 2020 - Fort Wayne UNITED in partnership with City Life will host another virtual forum on Thursday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m. During the “Mosaic Unity: More Than Allies” discussion, white faith leaders will address the role of advocacy and action during the triple threat of a health, economic and social crisis, and share how they've activated their particular communities to be a part of the solution.

June 18, 2020 - Fort Wayne UNITED’s TenPoint Coalition, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department and The Chapel church, will continue to distribute boxes of nonperishable food items and personal hygiene products to members of the community who are struggling in these difficult times. The program, which has been named POM for Peace of Mind Package Program, will be available Thursdays from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Those in need are encouraged to utilize this drive-thru service at Weisser Park Elementary School, 902 Colerick Street, in the parking lot behind the building.

May 22, 2020 - Fort Wayne UNITED’s next three L.I.V.E. (Listening to Input and Voices through Engagement) Sessions will be open to the public during upcoming Facebook Live forums.

The sessions will be led by Fort Wayne UNITED Steering Committee Member Reggie Blackmon, and will feature guest panelist Police Chief Steve Reed. This transparent discussion will address perceptions and perspectives, while exploring law enforcement policing practices, procedures, and policies, helping to build trust and foster healthy relationships between black men and boys and police officers.
