City Utilities is planning a project that will upgrade the Morton Street Pump Station located on Edgewater Avenue just west of Garfield Street. As part of the project, a portion of the existing water line on Cody Avenue will be replaced, sewers along Cody Avenue that were originally constructed in the 1920s and 1930s will be replaced and a force main from the pump station will be extended. Construction is expected to begin in spring of 2018.
